How do you know the rabbit is not feeling well?

If the rabbit is not eating or hasn't pooped in 24 hours, there is a problem. Take him to a rabbit savy vet ASAP. Don't wait 'till tomorrow. He might not have the time. If he seems to be shifting a lot and massaging his belly helps, it could be gas. Or there could be something blocking his digestive track. If he is grinding his teeth loudly or screaming, he is in a lot of pain. Get him to a vet right away.

You rabbit would stop deficating (pooping) and will stop eating it is very hard to tell a rabbit is ill because in the wild they dont show thair ill because if they did the predator would see the rabbit as easy pray... So if you do see signs of not eating or deficating then i advise you to take him/her to the vet :)

Common signs of ill health include decreased appetite (has your rabbit been eating less?), changes in feces or urine output or quality (paste instead of pellets, less pellets in the cage, urinating more or less frequently, etc), sleeping more, playing less and being more irritable (ie, having a normally docile rabbit try to bite you). If you have any concerns, it is better to call your vet and ask rather than wait and see - rabbits are prey animals, so they are very good at hiding when they are sick.

he may be off his food he wont come and run around when he see's you proably should ring your vet if your rabbit looks ill
