How do you know when your dog is dieing?

before the dog dies he will:

• become weak
• walk slower
• eat a little
• lay down almost half of the day
• try sleeping most of the time
• wont do anything even though you hit it
• and wont bark, growl, howl, or bite anyone or anything

• Dogs die similar to people. They get sick and their organs start to shut down (dying process.) The fortunate thing is the humane way is to put your beloved pet to sleep before most die a painful death. It's not easy to do, but humane. The vet will sedate the dog; then put an IV drip in with a clamp on it and the owner has the choice of saying goodbye to their loyal friend and either staying until the dog passes away or can leave the room. Once the clamp is released the dog passes away within seconds (heart stops.) The vet will then check for vital signs just to be sure.
