Cows cannot be made, they are not inanimate objects or machines or anything else that is "made" in terms of manufacturing and such. Cows are living, breathing, sentient beings that are made by the processes of Mother Nature herself just like cats, dogs, mice, deer, wolves, etc. are made.

A cow produces offspring by way of sexual reproduction, when she is bred to a bull. The bull's sperm unites with the egg (or ovum) in her reproductive tract, and this triggers a reaction of the resulting cell (considered a zygote once sperm and egg become one) dividing into other cells and so on and so forth until we get an embryo, then a fetus, then finally, when it comes time to give birth, a baby calf.

This calf grows off of her mother's milk for 6 to 10 months (for beef calves), or is bottle-fed milk replacer for 3 to 4 (for dairy heifers), then weaned. It then lives on grass, hay, silage and/or grain for the rest of its life. The heifer reaches sexual maturity (puberty) at an average age of around 15 months, then, after having a calf at 24 months, reaches full adult maturity at 3 to 4 years of age, whereby she is considered a cow.
