There are lots of different colors for rabbits (bunnies) about 144. So lots of genes control these. The primary gene loci are A (agouti), B (black or chocolate), C (complete), D (dense/dilute) and E (extension)
Each locus has a number of alleles...with the C locus double recessive resulting in a red eyed white bunny no matter what the other genes look like.

There are manycolors to pick from. There are color combinations and then there are also spotted. Go to arba.org for pictures of different varieties (colors).
You can mix the Dyes together with different colors to make different colors.

There is nothing found online about color opens or using color opens over each other to get different colors. However, mixing different colors can make different colors.

Screwdrivers have different colors to help find them in a crowded toolbox. Some companies use different colors for straight, Philips, and even torx heads to make the tools easier to keep separate.
