Moslasses is like chocolate to horses you can use that to hold together the treat grains such as oatmeal mix i THINK would work in that you could chop carrots and apples into maybe roll into a ball and chill over night.....make a nice award at a show or just to walk out and say I care :)
true it can also make your horse unfit and unwell don't feed treats all the time either because every time your horse sees you it will expect treats andstart to misbehave :)
Sorghum molasses is already in a number of horse treats.
Spend time with it and be calm around it if it obeys you give it some treats I wouldn't give it to many treats. It can give a horse colic. So, if your out for a ride give it ONE treat at the end ONLY if its been good. Horses like to spend time with people. Make sure your not loud around your horse. You should ride him everyday when he gets used to you. And yes, giving to many treats wouldn't be good, it can make bad habits.
Horse treats can be bought at most saddle and tack shops. Tractor and Supply stores have them. Online stores include Valley Vet, Scruggsfarm, Adams Horse, and KV Supply.
The decision to buy a certain type of horse treat is up to you as the horse owner. If you have any concerns about the treats read the label then consult with your equine Veterinarian.
i would feed it carrots apples or horse treats
You could get your horse some special treats or special food to eat.
Treats for Horse.. you can find recipes online
Calling it's name tempting it with treats eg. carrots, apples, sugar cubes, peppermints etc. A lot of times you might need to get a stronger relationship with a horse before it comes up to you! You should also practice with the horse. Go close to the horse with treats and wait until it comes. Every time go farther away. Eventually every time it sees you< it will come up to you and eventually you won't have to use treats! Also, cluck to them and make kissing sounds, as if you're trying to make them go!
If you feed a horse alot of sugary treats, yes. One or two is OK once in a while though.
If each horse gets 7 treats and there are 6 horses to get the answer you just need to multiply 7 by 6 and the answer is 42
