Monkey in the middle is a game where there are 3 people, 2 people stand a fair distance apart facing each other while the third person stand in the middle.

The aim of the game is for the 2 outer people to throw and catch an object (like a normal game of catch) but the person in the middle has to try and interfere and catch the object that is being thrown. If the middle person catches the object then he/she swaps places with the person that threw the object and thn the game continues.
