First of all you need to keep your yard clear. You have to make sure that you move your furniture to where the dog can walk throughout the house without bumping into your furniture. You just need a little patience to take care of your blind dog and you just have to plan ahead before you plan on letting the blind dog in your house.

We had a collie that went blind. He managed quite well most of the time. My Dad once put up a ladder to change a bulb, and poor Lad bumped into it. For the next several years, the dog went "around" the ladder...even though it wasn't there anymore.
