In a natural system creatures do not have enemies, (the word enemy is a human concept), they have predators (that want to eat them or their young) and competitors (for their food supply). So please do not use enemy when referring to a natural system.
The heron helps itself to avoid predation and improve its food gathering abilities by being well camouflaged so that it blends in with its background and remains very still for long periods. When disturbed by a predator, being a bird, it can of course take to the air to escape.
Protect the wetlands where they live. This species is still fairly common however.
This story is a reflection on why enemies should not be trusted. The heron should not have asked the advice of the crab because the crab sees the heron as an enemy. Herons eat crabs. Hence, the crab gave the heron bad advice.
