Polar bears are adapted to their environment by having;
- Have smaller ears (to reduce heat loss- keeping them warm)
- Have a large surface area to volumn ratio
- Have think fur to keep them insulated
- Have a lot of fat so they can survive in freezing condition
- Whit fur keeps them camouflaged, from predators
They have blubber under their BLACK skin and lotz o furr.........
they have a thick layer of blubber (fat) to keep them warm
they have thick coats
sharp claws to fight and grab onto ice
they are wight and so they blend in with the snow by laura in chestnut
Polar bears share many of the same traits as other bears, in particular their cousins the brown bear, to which they are closely related. Every creature is adapted to its environment, and the polar bear when it split from the brown bear group several thousand years ago, adapted to life in the Arctic, feeding mainly on seals, which makes the polar bear the most carnivorous of all bears.
Polar bears are adapted to live in such a cold climate as they have a thick furry coat over them which keeps them warm. If they did not have that coat the polar bears would freeze to death.
polar bears are white showing the camouflage so the can catch their prey
Because when Pangeae broke up they were stuck there and the just adapted to the harsh environment.
polar bears have a lot of fur and they are adapted to the cold weater
polar bears appeared more then 200 000 years ago and were much bigger then they are now polar bears went through alot of changes first they were brown in colour they underwent a lot of changes in order to survive a change in colour and teeth more sharp they live in artic today
polar bears do not change our enviorment but we can if we reduse reuse and recycle.
penguins, polar bears, etc;
they live in a cold environment
The largest meat-eater in the Arctic is the polar bear. Polar bears primarily feed on seals and other marine mammals, and they are well-adapted to the icy environment of the Arctic. Polar bears are at the top of the Arctic food chain.
Polar bears are perfectly adapted to the cold temperature of the arctic and they have no fear of it (and do not really even notice it).
Polar Bears live in cold places above the water. They can live on glaziers or ice covered land.
