Well for me, when I was a little girl I had this dog and he was ran over by a car. For me at that age, to be honest I wasnt THAT sad.. but I got another dog. Now, I have a similar situation, my dog was sent to the pound after 10 years of me having her and its like shes dead because I dont know if she is alive or dead. But in my opinion, I think the best way to get over a dead dog is to wait until youre ready then get another dog to make your life interesting.
