Apes live up to aproxometly 80 years, just like a human. Apes are among the longest-lived of Earth's terrestrial mammals. Homo Sapiens (Humans) can in extreme cases live up to 120 years. Chimpanzees can live up to approximately 80 years, while Gorillas and Orangutans can live to be about 60.
To research apes, one would need to go to a place where apes live. Apes live in their natural habitat which is in the forests of Africa or in zoos where exhibits of apes are showcased frequently.

I'm pretty sure they live in nests made of leaves and sticks, and eat fruit and drink water from rivers or from leaves. apes have babies and have to nurture them for a really long time, almost as long as a human, and teach them how to make safe nests and how to get food.
