How long can you leave a pet rabbit alone?

On a regular basis, you shouldn't leave your rabbit alone for more than 9 hours or so, because your bunny needs time outside her enclosure (like, her cage) every single day - at least 3 hours - to play, exercise, and socialise.

On the rare occasion, if your rabbit is young and healthy, you could probably be okay to leave the bunny alone for up to 12 hours and miss that day's play time. You have to make sure you provide enough hay and water so the the bunny doesn't run out while you're gone, though. And the next day you should give an extra long play time. Also, older rabbits are more dependant on routine and a disruption like this can cause them stress, which can lead to illness (like GI stasis).

If you'll be away for more than 12 hours, you should hire a sitter or board your rabbit somewhere. Make sure that whoever is watching your rabbit knows what they're doing!

If you're often away from home for more than 9 hours, then maybe a rabbit isn't the right pet for you. Rabbits, like dogs, are social animals and need your regular attention.

Rabbits do NOT die when its alone because with all stay with my rabbit its always happy running and jumping around trying to own a place with little droping on the floor as marking of its territory. Rabbits can stay alone as long as its been fed well. Or given a better diet like hay, pawpaw leaves etc

I am sure anybody or anything can get depressed when being alone.

Not really they can have some attention and then some alone time because they can get frightened when you get up in their face and pet them
