The Schipperke breed has been known to live into their late teens & even into their early 20's. I also have a friend that breeds Schipperkes & he currently has 2 Schipperkes (Sire & son), that are 18 & 22 years old respectively. I have looked at the AKC papers & this is a fact. The breed is known for living into their late teens & early 20's.
