A horse typically carries a foal in the womb for about 11 months, or approximately 330 to 345 days. This gestation period can vary slightly depending on the individual mare and various factors such as breed and health. Most foals are born in the spring or early summer, aligning with optimal conditions for growth and development.
If the indent has been there sense he was born, then it is called a witch's thumb. This happens when a foal in the womb pushes one of his hoofs into himself (usualy in the neck). Thus if it is something along those lines there is nothing to cure/heal and your horse is perfectly fine.
Babys come from the vaginal hole aka the womb.

ANSWER: A mother horse is a mammal and mammals produce an offspring. An adult female horse carries her young in her womb just like all mammals do. Just the same as any woman, in its womb. To have a successful birth the foals front legs come out of the womb along with its head.
They have sex and the sperm goes into the egg of a female in it makes babies! ---- to have sex, or mate it can be assisted or just done by them selves! With assited horse mating there is a mare, or female horse, and a stallion, or breeding male horse. They hold on tight to the mare, and the stallion gets on the mares back and does his job! Someonespecial613 says: Well, my answer is a bit similar to their answers. You can take your mare to a stud or just use one of your own stallions (you definitely can't use a gelding!) If you use your own stallion then just wait until your mare is definitely ready for mating (see "how can I tell when my mare is ready to have a baby") and just leave them alone. Before you know it a new foal will be born to your herd! Someonespecial613 says: The male horse will show great interest in the mare and vice versa. They mate and the sperm reaches the egg and penetrates it and a foal is conceived! Yeh, The male will put his front legs over the females back and they will have sex, the male's sperm will reach the female's egg and they will fuse together, and then it will grow and form a foal, and then the mother will push the foal out when it is ready to be born.
A doctor can only tell you that a baby was/is in the womb for too long.
Err.... no.Sperm has to enter the woman's womb for pregnancy to occur. As long as you keep your pants on you can't get pregnant.
Einstein was in the womb for 14 months.
Exactly 21 days in the womb!
320 to 360 days with an average of 340 days.
it usually takes about 11 months for a foal to fully form. usually, you will be able to tell when your mare is about to give birth. when she starts to get her milk in, it will be about 2 weeks or less till she has the baby. the day she is ready, she wont eat her food, an she will frequently lie down an get back up. finally, when she gets comfortable, she will have the foal. horses dont like alot of bright lights or comotion when the have their foals. (this is why horses usually have their young during the night) so if you want to watch, ( which i totaly recommend, its awsome!! :P) try to be calm an dont scream or bounce up an down, etc. hope i could answer your question! -from a redneck, barrel racin, horse lovin, cowgirl :)
