It is impossible to tell, but I would say 9-15 years.
I have one that just turns 16 this month and shows no signs of giving up soon. He is deaf in one ear, he has cataracts but is not blind, and his hind quarters shake a little, but I recently took him for a 7 mile walk in a neaby state park. He will not venture out of sight of the house by himself anymore, but he loves to walk every day and sleeps most of the rest of the time. He has eaten Ole Roy (Walmart brand) his entire life. I think he'll make 17, possibly 18.
Chow Chows are a dog breed originally from northern China. It is a popular domestic dog, usually called a Chow.
The average lifespan for a Chow Chow is 10-13 years.
The most common biter is the German Shepherd ranking in first. Ranking second is the Chow-Chow. Third place is ironically the Golden Retriever. Weird isn't it?
A MUTT is worth NOTHING... This MUTT will merely add to the unwanted dog population.

I do. I adopted what i thought was a lab husky mix last year. She is beautiful. After being with her after a few days, I started to notice German Shepherd characteristics. So i thought she was a lab/GSD/Husky. But I just did a DNA test for her and it came back Boxer/GSD/Chow chow. I know chows are in the husky family but the boxer part was very surprising. Anyways. Shes a great dog, a great guard dog, and extremely sweet and friendly. Also very very agile and fast.
Chow Chows are the only dog breed known to have a black/blue tongue rather than a pink tongue.
