I am taking two so they wouldn't be behaviour promblems hopefully. The person im getting them from is anxious to get rid of them. Would it be possibly to take them around 6 weeks.

6 weeks is far too early to take them away from their mother. Even if they are fully weaned already (some kittens can take a while to get onto solid food fully), they have not learned any important socialisation or behaviour skills yet, which kittens learn from eight weeks onwards. During this time kittens will learn how to play and interact with their littermates, mother and any other animals and humans in the house. They will learn what behaviour is acceptable and what is not. This may be less of an issue if you're taking two kittens, but even so, they still need to learn things from their mother.

If they haven't learned to use the litter tray, this is also the best time they will learn from their mother and/or human owners.

Sadly, too many kittens are taken away from their mothers too early. They do not learn nor know what behaviour is good or bad, and problems will develop as the kitten gets older. It will take a LOT of work from you, the owner, to correct this. It can take many months of hard work and patience, or even years in some extreme occasions.

For the wellbeing of the kittens, it is advisable to try and persuade the breeder/owner to keep hold of the kittens for another three weeks at the very least.
