There are four types of Belgian Shepherd dog.

You could be thinking of King German Shepherd's and Shiloh Shepherd's but they'e not technically a type of Shepherd.

The only way in which some German shepherds differ from others (apart from sex) is colour. The most common colours are black and tan and red and black. Other less common colours are sable and all-black. Breeding societies frown on all-white, liver and blue dogs. A new colour combination of black, tan and white is called Panda.
