How many guineapigs should you buy?

If you mean how many offspring they have on average, they can have anywhere from 2-6, although there is apossibility of as many as 8, or as little as 1. The most average we've seen is 3, although recently I've been getting alot of litters of 4 or 5.

well guinea pigs need their space just like us. it really depends on how big their cage is!

Yes. Though if you're adding new ones you want them to get used to each other. You don't want two males and a female in one cage or else the males will fight.
