I am obsessed with pandas and i know that pandas have one or two babies, but they ususally neglect or in some cases eat their second baby because they only have enough milk etc to look after one and can't cope with two babies so if they are in captivity they usually take one baby into care and bottle feed it and allow the other to stay with the mother then everyday or so they swap them over so they both get their mothers nutrition and they then can both survive seen as pandas are endangered animals this is a very good idea. :)
Just like what the guy up there said, ^ they usallly abandon the weeker cup, if it has 2, and it dies soon after birth. :( its sad but, the circle of life.
