Well for a Cavy, the average litter carried is 3-4. A less common figure but still possible is 5-6. There are plenty of places to adopt young Cavy's though, please do think about that before breeding them... if that is your intention.
For pigs (Sow), the average litter carried ranges from 8-14 piglets depending on the following factors... Age / breed & number of past litters.
