Although most Dog's come into season (or heat) twice a year from being a year old, you should never allow a Dog to become pregnant more than two or three times in a lifetime. Nor should a Dog be mated before it has had at least two seasons. Allowing a Dog to have more than 2 or 3 litters in it's lifetime may result in physical and psychological damage to the mother and the puppies will be weaker. It is cruel to allow a Dog to have more than this many litters.

2-6
They can, but i dont recommend it, the dachshund puppies, should stay with the mother dachshund.
Not that much
Usually 3-4 puppies per litter.12 puppies in one litter is the highest recorded though.
All puppies may drool when teething.
The Standard Dachshund should reach between 8 and 11 inches at the shoulder and weigh over 11 pounds when the Dog is 12 months old.
Puppies. :)
50/50 chance
The number of nipples doesn't determine the number of puppies a dog will have. Dogs can give birth to varying numbers of puppies regardless of the number of nipples they have. Typically, a Dachshund can have 3-6 puppies in a litter, but this can vary.
Dogs. not at once but perhaps over a lifetime
It really depends on if this is your dachshund's first time having puppies. If this is her 1st time she may have 2-3 normally (maybe more in special occasions). If she has had them before you may get more to about the same amounts of pups. So anywhere from 1 pup to maybe 5.
