DO NOT !!!!!!!!!! give a puppy human medicine unless advised by a vet it could kill them or make them seriously ill because their bodies are different than ours and need different medicines
Bathe the puppy in oatmeal shampoo or a mild shampoo, you can use Benadryl but it is best to ask a veterinarian how much to use, because a human dosage can kill a puppy. So please call a vet.
A four month old tamaskan puppy is about $800 ( You can buy one from www.puppyfind.com, that's where I got my dog )
Age is not a factor when giving Benadryl to dogs. The factor is the weight of the dog. The rule is that your dog should have no more than 1mg (milligram) of Benadryl per lb (pound) of weight. So if your dog is 5lbs, that would be no more than 5mg. You should consult a vet first, however, as it is possible for dogs to be allergic to the medication.
43-50lbs is the average.
At that age you can start him on adult dog food.
Native
Reduce meals to 3 times a day.
Anywhere between 6-12 pounds.
A heaping cup in the morning and again that evening.
Actually yes, it does very much, I have a border terrier, his hair gets everywhere, you have to strip them at least 3 or 4 times a month.
Actually it is safe in the right doses...Dogs and cats can be given 1-2 mg/lb every eight hours. This can be used to treat allergic reactions, and it also has some anti-anxiety and anti-vertigo effects. As a general rule, it is pretty safe stuff. The primary side effect is drowsiness.. Always check with your Vet.. I got this info off of a Vet site.
Four-month-old puppy should be fed about 2 ½ cups per day Have a great day!
