A black lab may come to a very expensive rate. As they are amazing, smart animals they may cost from 300$-1300$.It is so worth it though. We just got a baby black lab and he is awesome. Champion bloodline pups may very well cost over $1000 but any pure and AKC registered lab pup will cost at least $200-$300 just with their paperwork and first shots and deworming. I breed them myself and charge anywhere from $300-$400 depending on color and sex.

This is purely demographic. The same rules of supply and demand apply. Some regions are more expensive than others and bloodlines also dictate prices. Average cot in the south is about $600, in the Northeast its outrageous at a minimum of $1600.

Labrador puppies are more expensive than adult dogs, if you buy the puppy from a neighbor it cost between 250 and 400.00 dlls. From a professional breeder the price rise to 2,000 to 3,000 dlls. Chocolate labrador are more expensive than black or whites ones. My chocolate named chubi cost 350 dollars.
