Call Michael Vick. Be sure you are buying from a good breeder and get a non aggressive pit bull. You get what you pay for.

Answer:

I disagree a little w/ the 2nd sentence. No pit bull is born aggressive. Yes they can be easily trained to be aggressive if they're in the wrong hands, but even then, that is reversible. You can train an aggressive dog to become a good family dog. Almost all of Michael Vick's dogs were rehabilitated and are now living in safe loving homes. The best place to go for a pit bull is the humane society or animal care and control. You can adopt a pit bull ar pit bull mix from there for between $60 and $70. But they only adopt them out to GOOD HOMES! Also if you're looking for a purebred, try a pit bull rescue.
it really depends on where you get them from. My pitbull from the SPCA was $200 but that does not include vet bills and food so you need to be stable economically to take on the responsibility of a dog. They are as important as your own needs (water, food, shelter, vet(doctor))
