Lhasas were bred with Pekinese which made shih-tzus and was given as a gift to the emperor of China both breeds are called "Lion Dogs' and shi-tzus sometimes called chrysanthemum because the hair around their nose and eyes resembles the flower.

My Lhasa passed 9 months ago and we are now the owner of a 2yr shih-tzu from the pound, he is like a mini Lhasa, he is adorable, non-shedding, trained and 'fixed' what more could anyone ask??
