If they're family, don't be too picky with your prices. Try and find something you both think is reasonable. I would suggest $5/hour
If you're a beginner then you should charge $5 an hour, but if you're more advanced, you should charge $6 or $7 an hour.
I charge 8 $$ per hour for 1 child and for 11 $ for 2. If theres three and i know the family well i will only charge 13$ per hour

To determine how much Steven would charge for 3 hours of babysitting, we would need to know his hourly rate. If, for example, he charges $15 per hour, then for 3 hours he would charge $45. Without the specific hourly rate, it's impossible to provide an exact amount.
however much they charge
the economic function of the family is the things that the family members wants, their needs and how much they have to get it.
I would say depends on the family your babysitting for some they pay the min. wage which is like $7.50 an hour others pay $10.00 an hour.
