A toy poodle is a recognised breed of poodle. It is the smallest breed of poodle that is recognised by the BKC and AKC. The teacup poodle is not recognised by the governing BKC or AKC associations. It is a poodle but it is usually a much smaller than normal sized poodle and they breed these poodles together which result in a even smaller poodle which is called a teacup poodle. The poodles that are usually bred together are toy poodles which are smaller than the set size for that particular size. They are mostly the same except that Toy Poodles are larger than Teacup Poodles.
2.5 ounces to 6 ounces. the average being 4 ounces.
Teacup pomeranians, according to most pomeranian breed standards and pomeranian breed clubs, do not exist. In fact, you may say that they do but ''teacup'' is just a fancy word that sad breeders and puppy mills use to attract innocent people like you and I into buying sickly and poorly bred pomeranians. These dogs usually cost a lot (thousands, because of their size); not to mention all the medical bills you will have to pay for the sick dog, all the financial and emotional pain you, your family and perhaps even the dog may experience.I don't want to make my answer too long, so if you do not understand some terminology, you can always google it up and read people who want teacups being yelled at by angry people out there! You can read stories about teacups and even their mothers (who are often small and bred over and over again so that horrible breeders can get the most money from them). It's sad. Trust me, you'll regret buying a 'teacup' pomeranian and you really should think twice. However it's your life and I have no rights whatsoever to tell you what to do!I am dearly sorry if this does not answer your question, so to answer it, I think ''teacup'' pomeranians are supposed to (according to the people who believe they exist) weigh below the breed standard (the breed standard is 3 - 7 pounds, so ''teacup'' pomeranians are below 3 pounds). Note that most ''teacup'' pomeranians just weigh within the pomeranian breed standard. If you want a smaller breed that looks similar to a pomeranian (but just less hairier), why not try the long haired chihuahua?
A toy chihuahua is much larger than a teacup. The teacup chihuahua gets its name because it can fit in a teacup.
Pomeranians are small dogs. They grow to weigh around seven pounds and will stand between seven and 12 inches tall.
well since a pomeranian is such a small breed i would say 4 - 10 pounds and this is just my answer i am almost an expert though
lap dogs are normally dogs like Pomeranian, Papillions, Chiwahwahs, and dogs like that. Truly, i have no idea how much they weigh. i would say 8-20 pounds? I'm not sure. Sorry! I hope this helped though!
