How much does everything cost at petco for a guinea pig?

it depends on what kind of litter you buy...for carboared litter its about $25 a month.and also for their food like lettuce, fruits, and guinea pig kibble and also hay which is also very important...so about $200 a month if the animal is a pig :)

Guinea Pigs will cost- Anywhere from nothing (if you go to a shelter...which is the right thing to do) to $39.99 at Petco

Cage- Anywhere from $20-$100 depending on how many guinea pigs and how big a cage you get

Food- Anywhere between $5-$30 depending on how big a bag of food, what brand it is, and where you get it

Timothy Hay(please only buy timothy hay because it helps your guinea pig's digestive system function better) (usually put in litter boxs or on the base of your cage)s completely nomal) (also dont worry if your using the hay in it's litter box and it eats it, that- Anywhere from $10-$30 depending on again how big the bag is and where you buy it

Water Bottle- Anywhere from $5-$10 depending on where you buy it

Wood Chips (used collect odors, and urine)- Around $20 for a package which will last you a while

Vet Check-ups- $50

Fruits and Veggies- It depends how many times a day you feed your guinea pig and how much you give them, usually is about $75 a year

Guinea pigs are a big responsibility so make sure you have time to care for your new little friend and PLEASE consider adopting a pair from an animal shelter because your helping out an innocent animal and making sure it is happy!
