Recently, in October 2007, there was a Chinese festival. This festival, called "The Pig of God" festival, is a annual festival, where farmers fatten one of their pigs, making them gain weight. The winner in 2007 was a VERY big pig! This pig, not given a name, was force-fed sand and metal to when it was a weight of 2001 lbs. When the heaviest pig is chosen, it is killed. It is then painted and paraded down the street.

This festival has been banned, but the law enforcement doesn't want to stop the festival because it may make riots about religious rights.
