well it depends on how heavy he/she is and how old he/she is. It also depends on the type of food you give it. On the side of the packet of my dogs food it has a chart to say how much it should be eating. because mine is only a puppy (weighs about 2 kilos) we give it 50 grams a day and split that into 3 meals.
But it is important that you don't give it more than it needs, even if he/she eats it really quickly- westies can get fat easily!
It really depends... if your puppy is around 2 months then feed him/her a small bowl of dry food (maybe a handful) and some wet food to mix it in. My welsh terrier pup always pics out the wet food so make sure you mix it in well. feed them this much around 4 times a day IF they have no food in their bowl. Otherwise leave it.
If they are a little older then feed him/her a little more in each bowl with a little less wet food and only 3 times a day. On average a dog should eat twice a day. so you want them to slowly move to that.
Don't worry if your dog refuses to eat for a while. My puppy is sometimes starving when i give her food or she will refuse to eat at all. Maybe that's just my dog being picky...!!
Good luck with your Puppy, I'm still training mine!
it depends if you want to give your bull terrier some time

measure the neck of the staffy with flexible measuring tape in inches this should give you the size for the new collar
I fed my Staffordshire Bull Terrier twice a day on dry biscuits when she was 9 weeks old, half a cup of food each time. A general guide is to give your dog this much to start with and if it doesn't finish it, give it less, or if it still apears hungry give it some more.
Staffordshire bull terriers are generally high energy dogs and should therefore get at least one hour of exercise every day. It can be broken up into a couple of sessions a day. There are some dog trainers who believe the bull terrier breeds actually need 4 hours of exercise every day. If the dog is older it would need less exercise than a younger dog.
Give them food, water and a place to sleep.
Staffordshire bull terriers, and all dogs, need fruit and vegetables in their diet, just like humans. However, there are some fruit and veg which you should not give to a dog. Onions are very dangerous for dogs and should never be fed to a dog. Other fruit and veg to avoid include beans, garlic, grapes, raisins and citrus fruits.
Before buying a dog or a puppy you should always ask the person who sold you the puppy, what the eat and the instructions to feeding them . Like how much to give them and what sort of food. From HorseLover01
there are both nearly the same breed but pit bulls ears are usually pinned back or up and and pit bulls are also quite Territorial wen they have been brought up as a only dog They are not the same breed at all ! They were bread from different dogs and the personality and characteristics are different. I own an English Bull Terrier and my cousin is a breeder and I have done extensive research on the dog before I had it in my home. Some people go into things with bad to no information and the bull terrier is a totally different dog. I owned pittbulls most of my life and just purchased my first bull terrier who ever posted the first comment needs to do some research it give the breeds a bad name when you post false information.
There is no officially recorded record for the oldest Staffordshire bull terrier, the Guinness Book of world records only give record of the oldest dog, which is an Australian cattle dog, named Bluey, who died at the age of 29, but there are records of Staffies having reached the age of 18 years.
