A large amount due to their thick fluffy coats.
Chow chows have a fluffy coat, which means they shed a lot, but you can prevent a chow from shedding a lot. If you comb your chow's fur everyday, the loose fur will come off and the chow will hardly even shed. Brushing your chow everyday or at least 3 days a week is recommended.
The Chow Chow dog is a breed who originated in China. It was bred for the purpose of a guard dog and pulling carts. They stand 18-22 in (46-56 cm) high and weigh 45-70 Ib. There is the rough-coated form which is most commonly seen. It's a thick, profuse, and straight coat which would need a fair amount of grooming. There is also a smooth-coated form which shows how squarely built and muscular they are. That coat requires less grooming. The chow chow is known for being alert and independent, but not all individuals will be like that ;) Chow Chows are commonly tan or red.
A chihuahua is like most dogs...takes time and patience to train them. I've found through my 7 year old chihuahua that she was quite easy to potty train...used a lot of positive reinforcement. When she peed where I wanted her to go, I gave her plenty of "good girls"...and at the age of 7 I still do that. Make it a happy and exciting experience for your puppy and they'll do whatever you want or need them to do. A chihuahua lives to please it's owner...they learn fairly quickly if given the right guidance.
yes they are. Definitely great guard dogs but u need to train them well because chows can be very protective of their home and weiry of strangers or new people

The coat does require grooming once a week with a little baby powder, comb and brush.
Chow puppies are the most adorable, they need the same care as any other puppy puppy chow is amazing!!
Cleaning, training, and grooming takes about 1 - 2 hours a day.
In terms of grooming, Labradors are very low maintenance dogs. They only need a brushing every now and then, when you notice they are shedding a lot. And a bath about every 3 or 4 months if that.
American short hairs do not have much of an undercoat to speak of and does not need a lot of grooming or brushing.
Yes they do. Just like other dogs need it. Grooming is very important for every dog's wellness. Here are some details on this breed's grooming, http://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/irish-setter/coat-color-and-grooming

I would think that cat groomers would have to be a special breed! Dog groomers need to learn the basic cuts for different breeds like a poodle cut. There is not much variety in cat hairstyles! Dog grooming can be more involved as there are a great many breeds of dogs with specialized styles. In general cats don't need as much grooming, only the long haired types require any real attention to start with.
