A Polar Bear is much larger in size as well as weight when compared to a Tiger. The Polar Bear is the largest carnivore walking this earth. Siberian Tigers are huge but they are not as huge as a polar bear. Due to its sheer size polar bears are stronger than tigers.
Polar bear is two separate words. In total, there are 3syllables:po/lar (2 syllables)bear (1 syllable)
The typical cruising speed of a polar bear is about 3 1/2 miles per hour on land. When swimming, a polar bear can cruise at about 6 MPH.
2 Years Only! A polar bear is born in the late fall/early winter and sleeps through hibernation with its mother polar bear during the winter. The polar bear is wakes up in the spring, and at first it can not see or hear, and does not have fur until a year after it is born. After this year passes, the cub still stays with the mother for 1 more year, so that the mother can teach the cub how to hunt, make a den, and survive in the wild. When this is done, 2 years have passed since the cub was born and the polar bear cub only stays with its mom for 2 years.
