Bull dogs are very prone to lots of health problems (more than other breeds) if they have been bred poorly, so it is very important with this breed that you do lots of research and make sure you are buying well-bred dogs from a responsible, reputable breeder.

It really depends on the dog. If the dog is show quality then they can still fetch $1,000-2,000 but if they are not, you can expect them to go for considerably less. Also, a factor that would play a role in how much the dog is worth would be if she is a female and capable of breeding- although you should never sell an adult dog to a home where they would be subject to breeding and/or vulnerable to being a breeder for a puppymill. Lastly, has the dog developed any behavioral problems? If so, then you can really only expect about $500-$800 for the dog.
