A young painted dog is called a "puppy." Painted dogs, also known as African wild dogs, are born into litters typically consisting of 2 to 20 puppies. They are known for their unique coat patterns and social behavior, often staying close to their pack as they grow and develop.
They look like puppies, just their fur becomes a little dirtier because of the dust. Additional Information: African Wild Dog pups have large round ears, and rather long legs, relatively speaking. They weigh about 10.5 ounces when first born.
"Feral dogs" are domesticated dogs that have reverted to a wild state, often due to being abandoned or born in the wild. They typically form packs and scavenge for food, which can sometimes lead to conflicts with humans. Feral dogs can carry diseases and pose risks to both wildlife and human communities.
Cheetahs in the wild are born on the African Plains and Savannahs.
They have long slender legs to help aid in tiring out their prey, they have great eyesight to help them hunt during dusk and dawn, they also have strong teeth so that they can bite through bone. =] in addittion to that they also have lots of endurance and genrally chase their pray for a very long time, so that eventually the prey gets incredibly tired and as a result it is a easy kill also the ability to co-ordinate the hunting duties also make the African wild dogs superb hunters
Either would survive just fine if they were born and raised wild, they were bred from wild animals I think cats and dogs have a pretty good chance of survivng too. But honestly I think that the cats could get a kill faster and I think that the dogs would live faster because they are stronger and will work with other dogs.

African wild dog puppies are typically born weighing around 1 pound (450 grams). They are born blind and helpless, relying entirely on their mother and pack for care and protection. The puppies begin to open their eyes at around 10 to 14 days old and start to venture out of the den shortly after.
The oposite of a domestic dog is a wild dog. In other words, domestic dogs are just dogs that have been either born and bread as pets, or have been brought in from the wild and tamed. Domestic dogs simply means that they are pets, and while some dogs do better in large properties where they can run, others make better "lap dogs". "Lap dogs" are usually smaller dogs that don't need large places to run, because they get their exersize by just going on walks. Large dogs usually need wide areas to run and romp, and are considered "outside" dogs.
The opposite of wild is tame. The opposite of wild (behavior) would be civilized, or polite.
Cats are not as domesticated as dogs. The technical term for a wild cat is 'feral' (ie. born in the wild). They will attack because the are predators. If your cat is attacking you without provocation then it is showing signs of being feral.
