How often do you feed dogs?

We feed our dogs two times per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I was told that dogs need to eat 2% of their body weight in food. If you have a dog that weighs 20 pounds, you should feed the dog 6.4 oz. (a little over 3/4 of a cup) of food per meal. We use dry food and our dog seems to be very happy with this arrangement.

it depends how big it is, if it's a little one, feed it once a day 3 quarters of a cup, and it is good to feed them treats every now and then. If it's a big dog, give them 2 full bowls a day :).

usually it depends on the size, type, or age of the dog.
