like every type of breed, your dog should be walked around once/twice a day. walking your dog is the highlight of it's day, general exercise and good socialising. it is important that your border collie gets walked regularly, else you will find it will get destructive.
A Lab x Border Collie is commonly referred to as a "Labral" or "Border Lab." This mixed breed combines the traits of both Labrador Retrievers and Border Collies, often resulting in an intelligent, energetic, and friendly dog. They typically excel in activities that require agility and obedience, making them great companions for active families or individuals.
Unless it's dirty, every 2 to 3 weeks

Oh, dude, a Border Collie can live like 12 to 15 years on average. But hey, some of these little furballs can stick around for even longer if they're living their best doggy life. Just make sure to give them lots of love, treats, and belly rubs, and they'll be wagging their tails for years to come.
In general, Border Collies are medium-sized dogs with a moderate amount of coat, which is most often thick and sheds often. They have a double coat that varies from smooth to rough and is occasionally curled. While black and white is the most commonly seen color pattern of the Border Collie, the breed appears in just about any color and pattern known to occur in dogs. Some Border Collies may also have single-color coats.Eye color varies from brown to blue, and occasionally eyes of differing coloroccur; this is usually seen with merles. The ears of the Border Collie are also variable - some have fully erect ears, some fully dropped ears, and others semi-erect ears (similar to those of the rough Collie). The males' height from withers comes from 48 to 56 centimeters (19 to 22 in), females from 46 to 53 centimeters (18 to 21 in).

Collies originated in the Scottish Highlands and were used to protect flocks of sheep or herds of cattle. These dogs were also probably used as all-around farm helpers and even hunting companions. There are several variations of the breed -- rough, smooth, bearded and border collies -- all of which were developed in Scotland, mostly as herding dogs. The modern rough collie, however, is a result of breeding the so-called "Scotch collie" with the borzoi, or Russian wolfhound, for a more elegant-looking animal. These dogs often have much less herding instinct than their earlier cousins.
Hybrid dogs are, in many cases, healthier than their purebred counterparts, because they may not have the genetic weaknesses that particular breeds have. For example, border collies are prone to hip dysplasia, but border collie cross breeds often don't have this problem. Purebred pug-nosed dogs have breathing difficulties, but if bred with longer nosed dogs, this problem is less likely to occur.
