Horses can gelded at any age. Usually you would want to geld your horse when he is between yearling and 2 years old. But for minimal stress to the horse you need to wait till the testicles have dropped, because if not then the vet will have to basically search for them. Ideally you should look into gelding your horse before he reaches sexual maturity.
