A male puppy can be neutered (castrated) anytime before 6 or 7 months of age, but you can do it at anytime during a dog's life.

The earlier it's done the better though, as neutering can help prevent a male dog from "marking", as well as stopping other undesirable habits (including aggression issues) from developing.

anywhere around 7-9 months of age for a puppy
