Usually one. Twins are very rare and most of the time one of the twins sadly dies :(
Most of the time, just one, but they can have twins. However, twins are 1 in 10,000 and 80% of those 1 in 10,000 die. So live twins are very rare, as there are many complications that come with twins.
Horses do not have ponies, they have foals. A pony is a small horse 14.2 hands or less. A horse will typically only have one foal at a time, but they can have twins (rare) and even triplets (even more rare).
Like any other horse or pony, one. Or...if you're lucky....she COULD have twins!! (rare) ;)
