How to persuade your parents to getting a puppy?

I finally got my own dogs. You just have to prove that you are capable. Do the research, find the dog, contact the owner, add pet supplies to ur cart. Be extra helpful around the house so that the know u can handle another thing. Get a non shedding dog because parents seem to hate fur around the house. It took me 9 years to convince them so don't give up!

I wanted a puppy since i was 3, now I'm 13 1/2, I asked and asked but always a no from mum & Dad, but I did it, I now got a cute 4 1/2 month old puppy.

Here is some ways how:

1. Show them a very cute puppy of a freinds (Make sure they see and touch it)

2. ask for something small to prove your responsible. e.g Gerbil, hamster (make sure you clean, feed, water them out without being asked, that should help alot)

3. Cover your room with dog stuff, draw dogs, & buy books of dog breeds and show & share them with your parants, show how much you love them

4. show pictures of nice and cute breeds

Thats all the tips I got, and they all eventuly worked.

I am trying to get a dog. My dad is on the edge of getting a dog. We sort of include dogs in the conversation with out him even knowing it!!! It is so funny !!!

It so far seems to be working, as we reckon we dont want to be to annoying by asking him so many times for a dog!!!

Also, for my dads birthday, fathers day and Xmas we get him things to do with dogs. For fathers day we got a dog informatikon book. That seemed to do the trick for us!!!
