I don't know for sure how to do this, having never done it myself, but I think I know how, though be sure to check with someone who knows before you do anything. I think that you get whatever it is you are feeding the kitten in the syringe, and then you squirt it ,or whatever ,into the kitten's mouth.
Letting the mother suckle her kittens is far better. However, if the mother for some reason cannot or will not feed the kittens, then it is perfectly safe to feed the kittens Kitten Replacer Milk with either a bottle or a syringe if its struggling to feed.
Syringe feed newborn pup
No!!
Yes, but the mother should be with them. If no mother, you will need to bottle feed. Use only kitten formula-- not people milk. Kittens are fed every couple hours. They may not suck well from a bottle. You can SLOWLY drop milk into their mouth from a dropper or syringe. Make sure they do not choke.
yes a bobcat does
They do. With milk.
kittens c:
no, you can only feed milk to kittens.
this is quite the...um...less smart question :) you feed the cats wet cat food if they are kittens and dry cat food if they are not kittens.
The mom cat may not be willing to feed her kittens due to stress, illness, lack of milk production, or rejection of the kittens. It is important to monitor the situation and seek veterinary advice if necessary.
