Well for starters the whole food chain would crumple or at least a chain of the food chain would deteriorate or it could have consequencive effects on the other animals. Lets say for example the wolf fed on elk and deers. The elk and the deers would overpopulated and food will be scarce.
no because animal like elephant's are becoming extinct because they are being killed for their ivory and this will affect the food chain
If the African penguin were to become extinct, it would disrupt the food chain as they are both predator and prey. Their absence would affect the populations of the fish and squid they feed on, potentially leading to changes in the abundance of other species dependent on these prey items.

They won't and it would not affect our food chain. It would be a terrible loss to the planet though. Fortunately, they are not endangered and their numbers are still growing. They now number well over 20,000.
Plankton are at the very very bottom of the food Chain. So, if they go extinct then whatever is the next up the food chain will become extinct and so on. If Plankton go extinct, life as we know it is over.
African herbivores such as antelopes, zebras, and elephants eat grass, and are in turn eaten by predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards. This forms a food chain in the African savannah ecosystem.
No Elephants are not at the top of the food chain because us humans kill them.
Bald Eagles are at the top of their food chain and if they go extinct then the animals beneath them on the food chain will overpopulate areas that have no other birds of prey besides the eagle.
The most directly affected of the food chain would be on the organism that used to eat the extinct animal and whatever the extinct organism used to eat. The whole entire food chain is ultimately affected.
It would affect the food chain not only for the eagle but for other animals causing the animal planet to die slowly.
how does a food chain affect your life
