I dropped my jack Russell puppy twice on its head when he was six weeks old COMPLETELY BY ACCIDENT!! i felt so terrible and i literally thought i had killed it, it was very quiet afterwards but it was hard to tell whether it was just because he was settling in or because of the bang on the head, either way i was crying my eyes out with worry, he made the most high pitched screaming sound ever, but he was good as new after a few days he was fine do don't worry too much, but if your puppy starts acting drastically different to its average self i suggest ringing to vets and checking the area you dropped it on very softly by just gently prodding it. If not i wouldn't worry too much.

Please, first watch the puppy and see if his behavior has changed. If he is having trouble standing, or if he lost his appetite or anything about him has changed. Any strange behaviors would be an indicate a trip to the vet is necessary. Please just be careful and use YOUR judgement because you know your puppy better than anyone. Depending on the breed also. I have a chihuahua that i know will break if he falls but on the other hand my rotweiler can take a licking so to speak.
