St. Augustine grass is good for horses, but it doesn't repopulate very quickly. The best option for horses is Tifton 9 Bahia.
horses can't eat grass that has been cut, they will collick
good
yes they can but they will foam at the mouth really bad
No, yogurt is very bad it can make them very sick as horses are herbivores, accustomed to eating grass and hay.
mustang horses eat grass dandilions ect just like any horse but if they eat somthing poisonous they will often die or get a bad stomache ache. but if it doesn't taste good they will just spit it out.
Horses good, smallpox bad.
no. worms are parasites that come from the grass and larvae and eggs that horses ingest. they grow in the stomach and intestines and are passed in the feces and then are reingested as the horse eats more grass. sugar is bad for horses for the same reason it is bad for people.
because later on it smells so bad
Most human food is bad for horses. most of it is loaded down with unhealthy stuff for us, and that's even worse for a horse with their very sensitive digestive system. stick with grass, horse food and an apple or two.
Good against: Grass Bad against: Poison, Ground, Rock, Ghost, Steel
Yes. Horses need grass to live and thrive, as well as water and grains/ oats. If you are in a place that does not provide grass or live in a grassy area, you can feed them hay, which is basically dried up grass. Be sure you give them the correct amount- over feeding is bad but underfeeding is worse. Horses, bunnys and a few other animals use hay to keep their digestion going and working properly.
yes it is because it congests horses and they can die.....rspca gives out MAGOR fines if you do feed them asparagus....... GOOD LUCK! :)
