I currently have an almost 4 months cavapoo. I bathe her once every week. I have read many things about Cavapoo, but since Cavapoo breed is a designer dog, it is hard to find much information besides couple websites. I read that depending on cavapoo's coat time, you can do once every week or once every two weeks.
A cavapoo.
One can find more information about Cavapoo when one goes to the websites of puppyfind, nextdaypets, vetstreet, dogbreedinfo, as well as dogs oldie, etc.

A "cavapoo" is not a breed ... it's just a mixed breed like any other. Puppy coats change when dogs reach adulthood in any dog. Therefore, it's extremely difficult to tell from puppyhood what traits ANY mixed breed dog will exhibit once fully grown ... including the so-called "designer dogs" which are really no different than any other mixed breed dogs.
No. A cavapoo is half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and half Poodle, and both of these are primarily lap dogs. That said, though, both my Poodle and my Cavalier love to be outdoors to hang out and play--but they come in to sleep, eat, get petted and played with and cuddled, and of course in any bad or cold weather.
It really depends on each individual Cavapoo, as some will inherit the Poodle's non-shedding coat while others will inherit the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's coat, which sheds heavily. ALL DOGS SHED! If a hair grows, it will die and fall out. Most dogs have an undercoat that sheds out regularly. However, some dogs have "hair" vs "fur" and do not shed nearly as much. Their coats are more like human hair. A good rule of thumb, the shorter the hair, the shorter the hair folical lifecycle, the more the dog will shed.
