Is a grizzly bear meaner than a panda bear?

Considering Black Bears are the nicest bears, I would have to go with the brown bear. Brown bears are more aggressive than black bears. Brown bear attacks are mostly defensive while most black bear attacks are predatory. Making the black bear a little more dangerous.

A black bear is more meaner than a grizzly bear. If you happen to come across one, then run far way.

Another opinion:Both species are just as mean and ruthless as the other. Even though there are more reported attacks with blacks than grizzlies, both should NEVER be taken lightly or for granted that they will not attack.

And, you should NEVER, EVER run if you come across a bear, otherwise that gives incentive for that bear to come after you!! What you SHOULD do is, if you see the bear before it sees you and don't come across it suddenly, is to avoid eye contact and back away slowly, but keep an eye on the bear to see if it follows you. Chances are that it won't and will go back to it's business, but if it does, drop dead or climb a tree (ONLY if it's a grizzly), or prepare for battle if it's a black that comes after you. A big stick, a knife, your back pack, bear spray, your fists and feet, anything you can have at hand to defend yourself should be enough to defend against a black bear.

Yes a grizzly bear is by far more dangerous than a panda bear. Because of the amount of humans they have killed and also there body-build!
