Koalas are marsupials, and research suggests that the ability of marsupials to see is even better than that of humans. There is very little research on the colour vision specifically of koalas, but other research has identified that marsupials can see all the colours of the spectrum, and some types of marsupials can even detect ultraviolet, which people (and many animals) cannot see.
