It all depends on how big the male poodle is in comparison to the female chihuahua. In small breed dogs, it is better for the male to be the same size or smaller than the female. If he is larger, he should not be any larger than 35% more body weight than she is ( for example.. a 6lb female and a 8lb male) or she might have problems delivering the puppies naturally and need a cesarian performed. You could have a vet do an ultrasound or X-ray depending on how far along she is to get a better idea how big the puppies will be and get their opinion on her safely delivering the puppies.
about 5 or 6 pounds
You get a miniature poodle because a big poodle + a small poodle =a miniature poodle .
It depends on the size of the parents. I would guess that it was a cross of a Toy Poodle and a Chihuahua, both of which are relatively small, making a Chihuahua-Poodle relatively small (less than 10 lbs). Please take care of your pets and I hope you adopted your dog because there is no such thing as a designer dog or a teacup dog.
if a chuhuahua gives birth and her babies are big enough it can possibly kill the animal. just like that can happen with humans.
Poodle ish sized
if it is a male chihuahua with a female blood hound ,that would be possible BUT not recommendable, according to breeders it would be unethical in case of a female chihuahua with a male blood hound NO the chihuahua would likely die in pregnancy or birth so overall the answer should be NO, the bloodhound is too big
kind of big.
the chihuahua are really big because i have seen them the chihuahua are really big because i have seen them ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, person above, OBVIOUSLY has NEVER seen a CHihuahua before. A Chihuahua is VERY small. FUll grown, to give you an idea, is around the size of a Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) Bt, if your going to ask such a simple obvious question. Go to google images, and type in "a CHihuahua's size" and that will give you a more exact answer. They will have a height chart. I have a 7 week old Chihuahua, he is a tiny little thing. Could lift him up by a pinky xD. Anyways, as I said before, the person who answered this before, obviously, has no brain. XD ~Indi-
If it was a large puppy it was probably dead at birth because it was too big. Small puppies usually survive birth as it is easier to fit through the birth canal.
no alligators give birth to eggs than they grow up into big alligators
Bigger than your mum. That is big.
If someone was stupid enough to let that happen, yes. You should never breed a small dog to a big dog, especially if they need help doing it. Chances are the Chihuahua would indeed die.
