Yes! Rabbits are extremely intelligent. They can display a wide variety of talents and are more aware of their surroundings than us humans will ever be. They can exhibit emotion and they are wonderful pets to take care for. In my experience with my bunnies, I have to say that I have never seen an animal which can give so much love when taken care of and treated properly. Rabbits are definitely intelligent animals. They remember a good bit and are very meticulous.

Because they are only animals and so to us any animal could seem dumb. But really rabbits are intelligent for being just animals.

Rabbits can't talk, so they're "dumb" according to that definition of "dumb." They can't talk because they don't have the right vocal chords or mouth bone structure, and because they're not intelligent enough. Rabbits aren't as intelligent as humans but they're not stupid or dumb.

Rabbits are able to learn from their experiences and adapt, to a certain degree, to their environments. That's not dumb.

When rabbits are abused and neglected they become depressed, anxious, aggressive, and even self-destructive, just like humans. Rabbits need stimulation, activity, and companionship, just like humans do. That's not dumb.

Rabbits are able to communicate with each other and with their human owners (if you pay close enough attention). Rabbits have emotions, just like humans. Rabbits can feel and communicate joy/elation, amusement/mirth, anger, fear, grief, boredom/frustration, pain... that's not dumb!

Yes, as a matter of fact, rabbits are quite smart. They can sense danger and can sense if their food is safe. The doe's , female rabbits, can sense when harm is coming to their kittens (kittens are baby rabbits.)
