Well, i have a dog myself and im young but i think it would be alright!
I don't think anything different would happen!
But don't do it on purpose!
If it is safe to do so, put your hand in the dog's mouth and take the chicken bone out. If the bone is stuck or the dog is aggressive, a veterinarian may need to anesthetize the dog to remove the bone.
Nope. The bone structure of a chicken is different to other animals. If you were to feed it to your dog the bone of the chicken would splinter.
If a dog eats a chicken bone, it can splinter in their digestive system causing internal injuries, blockages, or choking hazards. It's important to monitor the dog for symptoms like vomiting, lethargy, or difficulty defecating, and consult a veterinarian immediately for proper treatment. To prevent this, always supervise your pet when giving them bones and provide safe alternatives like chew toys.
Chicken Bones
absolutely not.my dog swallowed a chicken bone hole and he was fine, but dont ever make a dog throw up.
Cooked chiken bones can easily kill a dog. It is an extreamly painful death. An operation to save an animal will cost thousands of dollars. A raw chiken bone should be ok, but a call to vet can't hurt.
Distract the dog with something else, like a toy, or a sound (Or another person).
There are no warning signs after a dog eats cooked chicken......dogs don't die or get sick after eating cooked chicken. You only need to worry if the dog is choking on the chicken or if you fed the dog so much that the dog got a stomach ache or became overweight. If the dog is old get a vet....it's stomach may not be as strong as it used to be.
Eating a chicken bone would not make it hard for a dog to walk. The reason veterinarians ask people not to give chicken bones is that the bones can become lodged in the dog's mouth or esophagus causing scratches that can become infected or causing the dog to choke.
possibly but it can cut up their insides so I dont suggest feeding chicken bones to your dog
At one point I did feed my dog a chicken bone, it was an accident of course, and it was fine. He is a small west highland terrier so I thought he would get hurt but he showed no signs of discomfort afterward.NEVER let your dog eat a COOKED chicken bone. Raw is ok. See the related link [1]
Yes, but dogs are not supposed to eat just fried chicken or a lot of red meat but they are okay with it in small amounts but it is advisable not to feed your dog fried chicken. There are many reasons why but the biggest is that chicken bones are easily cracked. If the dog is not careful swallowing, a cracked bone can either get stuck or cut internal areas. If you must feed fried chicken to a dog, peel the meat off and then feed just the meat.
